Course Curriculum
"...but teachers *just* hang out with kids all day. What else are they qualified to do?"
You wouldn't believe how many people (teachers and non-teachers alike!) have commented something along these lines on my platforms. If you really break it down, "*just* hanging out with kids all day" translates into roughly 20+ transferrable skills. Emphasis on the transferrable part.
I worked as a middle school teacher for five years, and felt like I didn't know how to do anything else, too. Once I decided that I would find something anyway, I came to quickly understand that teachers are some of the most versatile, desirable employees on the market.
We can *literally* do it all.
